Is it still posible to download the parts catalog from the BMW site? I can't manage to get myself registered.

Alternatively, is there anyone that could email it to me or ship me a CD?

Check out http://www.realoem.com No registration needed.

Search under "Archive" and you can get the parts diagrams for all older BMW's.
