I bought an M1 steering wheel for my E9. I had fitted a Momo Alpina wheel which just didn't go at all. The wheel I bought has a thinner cover that that required. Given they are rare I went ahead with the sale but I do need the longer cover.

The first picture is one that came with the wheel. The second, the one I need, (which is from a previous for sale post on here) Any help with one for sale or knowing where to source them would be very helpful.

I know at least one other person in need of this cover, and likely any M1 owner who used their car. The covers are quite fragile.

I could check with wolfe over on the 2002 forum to see if he can cast a soft rubber cover. He does the repro Petri covers.

The cover shown below is from my sale. I sold the wheel but it has been sitting in my trunk for a year. I may be able to ship the cover out to have it cast with permission from the new owner.

Next best option would be a Petri aftermarket wheel that looks visually similar.

As seen here:

The wheel is specific to the e12 M535i and the e26 M1. Different wheel diameter but same look and hub cover.
