I finally have some time to take pictures of the parts and list them online, the problem is I’m not sure what they’re worth. The prices I’ve found online are somewhat dated, going back to 2019 and 2022, so I thought I’d ask for your help and find out what these parts could be worth. If you’re interested let me know! Local pickup would be ideal but I could ship some of this stuff if necessary.
The two differentials that I think are LSD are listed as 13/40 and 11/38, and the non LSD has an 8 where the S is on LSD diffs, then maybe an 11, and the other digits are too hard to decipher. The transmissions part numbers are 262.0.510.00 and 262.0.0510.90. Someone who came to look said these were not the desirable 5 speeds, due to the lack of three holes on the side? I’m not sure what they meant, but they probably know more than me. What do any of you think they are or what they came from?
I still have plenty of stuff to sort through in various boxes, but the pictures are of some of the more noteworthy parts. Various windshield trim, windshields, old bumpers, engine heads, air filter housings. I didn’t take a picture of the radiators, but I have several of those, and three toolboxes and a separate box of BMW toolbox wrenches. I’ll add those pictures later.
I also have a NOS windshield gasket front and rear, is it possible to use this in the event the 74 Bavaria windshield seal goes bad? Or are they not interchangeable?
The tan E3 has a potential buyer, but if they do not come through it will also be for sale. It is almost completely rust free, at least beyond the surface rust on the roof. No engine or transmission, but it does have a manual pedal box and steering column with the original keys. $500 for the body if the other buyer does not show up.
