I am told by my mechanic that pedal box somehow still doesn't fit.

Can anyone check these measurements if possible?

Note: Before me someone tried to fit a chevy v8 in it, widen the trans. tunnel now I got original transmission tunnel to get it right.
However I am suspicious of other areas including pedal box and the fire wall.

I don’t get what your mechanic is trying to do here, or now that measurement is meaningful. Do the mounting holes line up? It looks like they will.

He knows it is surface mounted from the inside right? The mounting plate is supposed to be wider than the hole that the booster mount passes through.

I suggest that you buy the new gasket from @alprada70. That will tell you if the hole is correct (looks correct but missing through holes and backing plate) and if the box is correct.

Some part of the pedal box doesn't meet the firewall as it should. Looks like firewall needs to be corrected.

I don’t know I think your mechanic is trying to mount the face of the pedal box to the engine side of the firewall.

Your firewall looks identical to mine. The sheetmetal screws, the opening shape, the lip of the opening: all as I'd expect it.

As Markos mentioned: it needs to be shoved in from the interior side, through the firewall into the engine compartment.
Screws then get inserted as well from interior side.
