I checked out the remodeled museum today and I had to check out the BMW art car exhibit. The museum is awesome. In January they will also have the underground area open for tours.

Is this a replica? Is it me or does the rear roll cage at the rear speaker shelf look like the steel was flattened at the end and screwed in with three sheetmatal screws????

Don't know about the sheetmetal screws, but the camera angle and the spoiler make it look like a hatch back. Or is it just me?

I think it's just the angle. I really didn't understand that metal bar either. Maybe so that the windshield doesn't pop out?

I see what you are saying. This frontal shot shows the flattened rear point. Verde isn't referring to the windscreen supports.

Here is a better photo of the rear shelf I was referring to with the area of concern circled in red. That bar should go through the shelf and attach to the rear shock tower, not flattened and screwed to the rear shelf with three screws. How thin must the roll bar walls be for it to be flattened that way. Car must be a replica used for display.
