I recently purchased a 38 cm steering wheel on Ebay.de. It's a Petri lookalike. In fact I can't see the difference (sorry, can't post pictures yet) and I still wonder if it's an original Petri. The only thing it does't have is the name and the logo stamped on the back side of the spokes. Do all BMW / Petri steering wheels have these stamps?
It has corrosion on the spokes and instead of a full resto (the leather is very good)
I think I go for a matte black finish which in my opinion looks even better than matte steel.
Anyone out there know why some CSL's came with a matte black finish?
