Hi All,
The semi-annual DelVal Chapter BMWCCA vintage rally will take place this on May 17th (rain date is 5/18) in the 18th Century Bucks County countryside (start in New Hope, PA which is in between Philadelphia and New York City). The link to the starting point is at www.delvalbmwcca.org and just scroll down and click on the vintage rally event
Photos from last Fall's event can be seen at: http://www.e9coupe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2290
The rally will gather at 11am and start at Noon and go till about 4pm. Highlights will include steep twisty country roads, elevated roads overlooking the Delaware River, a stop at a vintnage active airfield, and a culmination at the Tinicum Polo grounds to have lunch while watching some Polo. This year we are opening the event up to all Pre-1983 BMW's so we can include E12's, E21's, and early E23's and E24's (previous age was pre-1975 cars). Our last event was held last November. Despite the rain we had 15 E9 coupes and 2002's. We are looking for about 25 or so cars to join in the event. Anyone who is interested please post a reply, or email me directly at [email protected] for more information. This event draws from the Washington/Baltimore area all the way up to central New York. We hope to see many of you at the event!
