So I acquired an 83 633csi for a very fair price to use on my CS to swap the engine over to FI and use the 5 speed conversion. The front end including subframe look very similar to the CS. The rear end is the early version so not sure if I have any useable parts from there.
My question really is have any of you used this platform to take parts off of and use in your coupes? Items like window motors, brake parts, suspension components ect. The engine bay looks very similar to the CS. My plan was to go through the engine and trans. Make them brand new and install it with an aftermarket fuel management unit. This will allow me to no only clean up the wiring in the engine bay and create a custom harness. It will also allow me to tune the car to my specs. My goal is to have a reliable driver with a reman driveline that allows me many years of service.
