Looks like you can see the "grafting" on the far fender wall.Looking again is that a E9 shell grafted onto an M5 ?
Those aren’t e9 strut towers, good call.Looks like you can see the "grafting" on the far fender wall.
@Tom2240 spotted it. It would be interesting to see the car up close or on a lift to check out the build. Those aren’t e9 strut towers, good call.
That's not an e9. It's a e9 body on a later chassis. Read about this a few years back. The rear of it looks fugly...Those aren’t e9 strut towers, good call.
Looks like they did they best they could considering there's no room back there for exhaust. It's amazing how different it looks with a straight rear valance versus a curved one. Underside photos would be nice to see.The rear of it looks fugly...
We can do 100 coupe pictures with Photoshop. Can even put a V8 in my coupe with Photoshop.I would be very interested in an event. Retiring at the end of the year and would have time to help out next year. We have so many E9 the bay area we could really have a amazing event.
Fear not Don, I cannot do an automatic to 5-speed conversion with Photoshop...Bad Arde- bad!
The back end might not be the most elegant part of the car - but I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers...That's not an e9. It's a e9 body on a later chassis. Read about this a few years back. The rear of it looks fugly...

Wow, good eyes! I would expect that S62 (presuming that's what it is) to weigh pretty much the same thing as any variant of an M30 would considering their aluminum blocks.Great Photos, that's a big V8 motor it the Silver CSL ! Looks to have been done well, maybe a bit heavy and dare I say to much power
