Went over to this on Sunday, Good turn out, though a disappointing number of "classics" only 5 E9s - including one in the car park, 2 E3s - one converted to a Pickup! and about a dozed 2002s - one Turbo

30+ Pictures Here

Cheers

thanks for the pics!

Say, what the story with the 'Landau Top' treatment (see last pic), is/was that a exclusive British option? I think some other British board member has one with malaga paint...

Nice to see the Alpina cars too.
We don't see those much on this side of the pond

Nice pictures and good to see a couple of "rough" cars there too. IMHO cars should be used!

The vinyl roof (Landau Top) treatment was done by BMW UK in an attempt to shift cars. My old bucket had one, I ripped it off, and DaveB's car has one.
The car pictured was registered somewhere between August 1975 and August 1976 so it must be one of the last one's sold in the UK. Who knows when it was built....
The number plate, which is actually illegal, ends in a "P" which give the date range. The plate is illegal because after 1st Jan 1973 the reflective type had to be used. Black letters and numbers white background front, yellow background rear.

I'll put my anorak on
