Took some pics today in the paling sun. Fall is here! Soon the salt will fly, so I figured I'd take a few shots of her....

This road is near the house, always a fun drive....

I can't believe how many comment on the "old school" vent windows....

My wife says the seats in the coupe are more comfortable than our sofa! Bless her!

Hope you enjoyed!

Always love to see another coupe ...nice!

I noticed that you have made a slight modification to your center console to add a radio and gauges. Was this home grown or did you find parts somewhere?

The previous owner of my coupe hacked out the center console for a modern radio (which was missing). I have purchased an other used console with a normal radio cut out which I have not installed (I don't have a radio solution yet). As a temporary solution I have made a cover plate to hide the hole. I am still looking for a good solution.

Thanks!

Psychrunner: The wheels are Alpina 16 inchers, tires are 225/50 rear and 205/50 (Should be 205/55) front.

JJ: Homegrown. Mine is a euro model that had no ac or radio, so the console below the vents was empty. I used a piece of plywood cut to size, and a doorknob saw for the gauge holes, covered it with vinyl material from a fabric place, and voila! I'm not 100% happy on the fittment, though, so I'll be maiking some minor adjustments to make it look less hacked together.

Great job on those gauges. I love the fact you used the series 2 vdo's. I think the matching white needles look much better than the more common red ones.

Hi Jon,

Great pics. I've heard about the color of your coupe. Can't wait to see it in person, it looks awesome. Your pics inspired me to get some of my own posted as well. We've simply have to make a point to get all our coupes together.
We know we're out there, so it just a matter of when...

OK. How about the 15th or the 22nd? Saturday or Sunday; weather dependent. Chuck? Mike? Anyone else in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area?

Re: venue, a few of us met a year or so ago at the Thayer Hotel at West Point. Great once you get through security. Also, New Hope in the Fall is pretty nice.

Jon, we're close enough to just drive toward each other and meet in the middle!
