Pilot Bearing spacer - anyone removed ? HELP

Sorry, to still be on this subject,
Has anyone had success in removing the spacer for the pilot bearing in crankshaft ?
If so how ?

This is the one that reducers diameter from 32 mm to 21 to suit the needle roller bearing.
I want to use the ball bearing rather than the needle roller bearing, but am having trouble removing the spacer / sleeve.

I have been able to remove pilot ball bearings (using bread method!) but cannot remove this spacer

That’s very old school and a PITA.
I use a dremel fiberglass reinforced cutting wheel to cut a slot at top and bottom from front to back.

As wheel gets smaller it will cut deeper and deeper. The slots allow the metal to cave in on itself with a hammer and chisel so it can be extracted easier. It’s 20 minutes of fun.
Other folks use extractor tools.
