Piston Rings: NLA?! How can that be?

Hi guys,

How is it possible that no-oversize piston rings (88.97 mm) for the venerable M30 engine are not available? These rings are used in about 10-12 different car series in 100s of thousands of engines yet are not to be easily found anywhere.

BMW doesn't have them (PN 11 2 51 261 130) and a search on Ebay US, UK and DE produced no results. Walloth does have them. How can the be so hard to find for such a common application, or am I not looking in the right places??:confused:

Found them...

OK, I'm going to answer my own question... It seems although realoem.com and Penske parts shows them NLA. Other sites like Autohausaz and getbmwparts do show them available. Sorry for the false alarm
