I'm getting ready to do some restoration work on the coupe this winter and that includes replating some hardware. The shop that did the E3 hardware for me is no longer in business. Can anyone recommend a reliable and high quality plating shop they have used. I would prefer the correct dullish cad style (real cadmium no longer used) yellow plating but will use the shinier yellow zinc if that's all that's available through a reputable shop.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Haven't used them because I am too scared to throw all the bags of parts in one Bin, but I suppose when I get the courage I will use these guys just because they are local.

You probably don't want to deal with border hassles though.

I used a place near Frenchtown New Jersey. They do work for companies like Knoll furniture and others. They did my fender and hood grilles. Two coats, I can't remember what the first coat was, second of course was chrome. Not too bright but you can tell the coatings are not "thin". No problems, on the car over three years. I like the subtle look of chrome over Polaris. I can get name/address for you.
