The E Type in the picture Paul posted yesterday looked Playboy Pink to me, it's not but it got me thinking about the article I read about 1968 AMX that Victoria Vetri received as the Playmate of the Year in 1968. AMX's typically had the car's SN on a plaque on the dash but this car had her measurements. Pretty interesting story about her and the car.

Digging around I found a list of cars awarded to the PMOTY over the years, they were are pink for the first few years. Some were better than others, the winning Playmate in 69 received a Shelby and the next year the Playmate got a Capri.

Didn't the Ford Mustang have a playboy pink as a regular color choice?

Some of the model choices are well thought:
- 1972: a Pantera, really.
- 1973: Volvo 1800, promotes the virtues of a Saint.
- 2004: Mazda rotary engine inventor name is too close for comfort.

Yes, Chris, I couldn't resist going to the Google search...Oh my.
At least she wasn't one of those ladies that got Eagle Talons, or the one that got a Jeep. Too bad she didn't keep the AMX, tho.
