I am just completing my 72 resto and am down to the nit-picky stuff. I need a piece of the trim/binding that goes around the 'flap' or whatever it's called that holds the shoulder harness/belt up near the headliner when not in use. Please see the pic.

Anyone have a parts car that might have this piece? or know where to get it? thanks. DCG

Not sure of the exact dimensions, however, if you look for "windlace" for vintage Fords from the 1960's in a parchment color you might find an acceptable alternative to what is in your picture. Windlace can be found on the pinchweld surrounding the door openings of my '67 Mustang. Note that there are a few manufacturers of this product and the texture can be different. It is typically available in "by the foot" lengths for less than $1 per foot.

I hate to think of how many of those were thrown away. I'm guilty of it too... Are you sure you want to stick with that horrible seat belt design> The Euro Autoflug belts weren't great either, but in my mind still much better...
