Hi Everyone,

Wanted to gauge interest on a possible run of 3.0 CS signs. I had a local designer/craftsman put this sign together for me, I think it turned out great and wanted see any one else would like order one. If we do a run, I might ask her to make the numbers and letter a tiny bit taller. She is pretty flexible and could do a CS, CSi, or CSL version. They are cut out wood, nicely painted and approximately 40 wide by 8 inches high with provisions for hanging. The price would be $180 each plus shipping. Please let me know if you have any interest.

Thanks,
Vince

I don’t know if I have wall space for the sign at this time.

But I am curious where did you get your M stripe from? I’m assuming it is vinyl and fairly easy to apply and remove? I might not keep it permanently but it would be a fun way to add some color to my chamonix car for a summer…

I am interested... very much so.
Question - Would it be viable to do 2800CS (at least for those of us with early cars)?

Thanks

I'm thinking she could, let me check with her. Anyone have a good picture of the 2800 script that I could send to her?

I found mine on eBay, the seller has the multi stripe for CSLs, but was able to make the CSi for me. I'm with you, I don't know how long mine will stay on. Judging comments I get - I might leave on for a while. I was at a car show today - so many people told me how much they like it. It really pops on the Fjord, probably similar on Chamonix. Took about 2 to 3 hours to put on, probably 1/2 hour to get off.

Ok I’d seen them on eBay, wasn’t sure of the quality or whether they could do different lettering. But yours looks good!

Yeah I think on a chamonix it would look good, maybe especially with some gold BBS basket weaves… kind of like a classy CSL race car “lite”

See enclosed (a pic I just took - note the 2800 and C and S are the same height)....

Technically, the 2800 with the bar below are the same height at the CS letters alone. The actual numerals are a bit smaller than the CS.
Here's the same image with the letters straightened out to correct for the curve in the trunk lid.

Vince, I'd be interested in a 3.0CS sign. Love the car collection, models and all. I almost bought that BaT Truck and trailer but got the one in my pic here instead. I bought two, one I kept in box, the other is this one with the BaT hot rod.

Love the skateboard too. I have a pretty large collection of collectible skateboards, used to be a skater and started collecting boards before it kind of became a thing. I had some of them hung up in my old office, I need to rehang in garage or really should just sell the collection now that they are worth good money. The board you have I always hung horizontal as the artwork is horizontal, not vertical. That way you don't have to cock your head over, especially if there are a lot of them. I have some extra mounts if you want a couple. Used to ride a few of these boards when I was younger, mostly Powell Peralta boards, but mainly the skull and sword. Too bad can't see the Duke Kahanamoku board better, that was a cool board but I just traded it for a set of golf clubs for the wife. Behind Elton John there.
