I will have to double check mine, but i think it was called 'Hull Tracer'

It's now defunct...scary checking those old ship sites...

Can anyone else name their import vessel?

MF

Don't know about mine but I have seen some coupes for sale lately that probably came in the Titanic.

My 2800 CS VIN 2205635 arrived in Los Angeles on the TOSCA (Wallenius Lines) on 10/31/1972.

Thanks for posting with some neat details there...

I can say my import year was '86, but I am not sure about the import amount as some numbers are listed in DM and hard to read....

What's this?

How does one discover this long-forgotten tidbit, unless you imported it yourself?

I got the letter from Munich stating my car was brought in by Hoffman Motors, but no surprise there.

Depends on if your car was an original US import or grey market. Most grey market vehicles with complete paperwork list the import vessel.
