Badass stance and black out trim... Like it. same question as Bob, what is the suspension? Clean engine. Was the engine compartment restored when you dropped the new engine in? If so, what did you use for the NLA lower firewall insulation?

Suspension on the E3 Alpina
The suspension on this car is as follows:
Bilstein HD Sport Shocks
Alpina short progressive rate springs
29mm adjustable front sway bar
22mm adjustable rear sway bar
20 mm machined spacer between front strut and tie rod arm to correct
suspension geometry after lowering
Hardened upper strut bearings repositioned for negative camber
Adjustable front strut brace (making)
Rear crossmember trailing arm locations slotted for adjustable
camber/toe in
Boxed rear trailing arms
vented and cross-drilled brakes at all 4 ends
Hardened Urethane bushings where applicable
7x16 BBS wheels with 205/55VR16 Yokohama A008 tires
Rolled rear fender lips
also have 7/16 Alpina wheels with 225 and 245 widths f/r
Also have a few new xtra sets of firewall insulation pieces, etc.
Anyone need a sideloader limited slip? I have a 3.07 lsd from a euro 635CSi.

The thread to the pictures is by highlighting Community in the above dark brown headder and then click on pictures and alblums.
The oil coolers on this car are as follows:
The engine oil cooler is comprised of a piece that bolts on to the block where the stock oil filter goes, but also has a thermostatic valve to route oil to the oil cooler and then into the filter - cast aluminum which says purolator on it. I've got two spares of this piece. There is then an oil cooler which bolts up where the original battery goes and has an upper angled bracket from Alpina (at least they were making them about 40 years ago).
The differential oil cooler can be found by looking in the following link:

part #7 in the second frame and the whole of the third frame. The cooler drum now seems to be made of unobtanium!
The original owner also modified the instrument cluster to add an oil pressure gauge and a voltmeter! Really cool, and I've still got his schematics on how to do it! Added a picture of it to the photo set
