Power Steering Pump

My power steering pump is starting to fail. I've found several threads outlining rebuilding and those who have offered the service. However, most of those threads are 8-10 years old.
The pumps seem to be very rare - so it doesn't seem to be a quick change process (submit core for rebuild etc). I'll probably limp through this driving season and pull the pump when the car is ready to sit for a bit.

Question - has anyone had one of these rebuilt recently? What was the turn around time?

Jay did my pump in August. He finished the work a week after he received the pump.

Jay did mine, I have not run it yet, but it looks fantastic
I sent him a can of caliper paint hoping it would be more fluid resistant
I don't think these pumps, as in worn out ones, are super rare, used on Bavaria
