Power wire through the firewall...easiest location???

I am installing an amp in my trunk and need to run a power wire to the battery. Should I go through the speedo hole? Other?

There is an oval or rectangler rubber grommet immediately behind the fuse box. This is where the majority of the wiring bundles go through, if your power wire is relatively thin to medium gauge then you can use this grommet. If you are using the super thick gauge power wires then it may be a better option to drill a separate hole and use a appropiate sized rubber grommet. Use silicone to seal up any gaps where the wires go through the grommet. This is a good practice to do so no engine or gas fumes are allowed to enter into the inside cabin.
