i'm pretty sure the sport seats in the e30, e28 + e24 were made by recaro. they are much more adjustable than the early e24, e21 recaros ... and more comfortable. i loved the seats in the e30 m3

Not sure about e28s but on e24s you could either Recaros or Sport Seats (and, of course, comfort seats). My first euro e24 (1984) had Recaros, and my new one (1985) has Sport Seats. They are both great seats.
