It has been my privilege this week to talk to SF Don on the phone and to visit with Carl at La Jolla Ind. These are two of the most knowledgeable and down to earth men that I have ever spoken with. Indeed each in his own right is a Prince amoung men, and I am greatfull for their kind help.

Haven't yet spoken with Carl, but had the pleasure to talk to Don ( @sfdon ). I had posted and inquiry on the forum and at the time he was on vacation getting ready to go for dinner but he took time to call me and give me great advice and point me in the right direction.

Over the years I have spoken with both Carl and Don and purchased parts from both. Borrowing from the Treat Williams movie, "Prince of the City" I would crown both the Prince of their respective city. Thanks guys.

i will drink a big glass of wine in honor of @sfdon ... each day of remaining year. then i will re-evaluate my health and continue to do so.

@sfdon has helped me have a much more comfortable Coupe with his A/C and coolant system. When you live in a climate where the humidity seldom goes under 70% and the temps are in the 80's 10 months out of the year,driving with a cool interior and a normal temp engine is much appreciated. And the power with the A/C on seems to be the same as when the compressor is off. That was what Don promised, and he was correct.

Did we also mention how he's also quite enigmatic Don is the DB Cooper of E9s. Everybody has a theory but in the end we aren't even sure he's real...

Agree - Dunno about Don being real. I do know however that his bank account is real and also accepts deposits. LOL
