Proper material for under trunk surrounding toolkit

Anyone know the proper material for under the trunk lid surrounding the toolkit? Is the material the elephant skin same as what is wrapped around the wood panels covering spare and gas tank and what is glued in the trunk "shelf" behind the rear seat? Or is it non-textured material, roughly the same color because that is what is on mine, (not elephant skin). Still a grey color but does not look factory. UPDATE:

It's looking more and more like it is Elephant under there, it is just really, really, hard to tell from pictures unless it is very close up shot. If this is incorrect, let me know, thanks....

Original is much thinner with very thin foam backing, nothing close available today, almost plasticky. You can use the thick with cotton backing elephant skin but it will be a little tougher to get it to fit properly.

Chris, do you know how thick the foam is? That I should be able to find... any leads on the foam only?

Very, very thin, just like foam on toolkit lid.
