Would like to know where and how to begin the Provenance Process for my 2 Bimmers. Have only had minimal success. Am open to any ideas other than the “dark internet”. Thanks a lot

Hey Chris, Munich did get back to me with production date(s) and when they arrived at P.O.E.(Elizabeth, N.J.). Now, have no sources as to which agency(s) got them. The Hoffman Foundation didn’t get to keep the business side records of Max’s doings. Curious though, BMWAG Classic didn’t know the build of either car except for automatic/manual transmissions. Somebody somewhere mentioned about a “BMW Certificate”? If so, what is it, and where would one go to get one(or two!)? Thanks!
The certificate gets you same info as an e-mail so don’t bother. Auto vs manual is based on the unique VIN series. Yep, sad but Hoffman’s records are long gone.
