When putting things together I cannot figure out what the bracket on the bottom of the coolant reservoir connects to.

Did it connect to the brake vacuum which I do not have anymore?

Anyone have a picture of that area or can describe it?

Thanks, Johan

Hej Johan,

the front of the canister has a fixed mounting plate which attaches to a fixed plate on the firewall. 2 screws and nuts.
The bottom has a similar fixed mounting plate which attaches to an angled bracket held in place at the wheelhouse with one screw and on the top/side of the brake booster, with another screw.
Sorry, no digital camera.
Lycka till,
Peder

Tack Peder.

So it is like I suspected, there is something that connects to the brake booster (which I don't have anymore). I think I am missing that piece, will have to make something to put there.

Did not see the part in the spare parts list from W&N which was confusing me.

I do have the other bit but that is not quite enough.

Btw, the arm that goes under the gearbox that holds it up has just one support rubber right?
I had two slightly different ones in my leftover parts which was confusing me as well. I think I am easily confused :)

sfdon, if you can that would be great. Would be interesting to see how it looks towards the side of the wheel house so I can see how it looks and make something that looks like it.

Ouch- not much to see- Total of 5 holes..

1 at very top to expansion tank
2 at midway to brake servo
2 at side to fender
