My original BMW 3.0s Alpina B3 export from 72 has fuel problems.

The pump is something special for the 3 Webers.

Have you the same pump? Actual head of Alpina engine department told me they used standard pump. But this is definitivly not the standard.

Engine in matching numbers and original.

Maybe it has been changed in the past.

Best regards
Andreas

This could be an aviation pump. Alpina used Pierburg/Bendix electrical pumps on their carb set ups. The standard BMW pumps have either not enough flow (mechanical-CS) or too much pressure (electrical- CSi)

Do you know what PSI you have? Webers prefer a low 3-5psi flow.
I have had good luck with the Facet electric pumps with an added pressure regulator + gauge for tuning.

Attached is a pic from a 1970 press test day with the Alpina 2800cs racer running 3x DCOE45s. They ran two pumps simultaneously with a 3rd installed as a backup.
