I am a distributor for Quick Silver stainless steel exhaust products (in the UK) and I want to make an offer to everyone on the list that I will pass on my dealer cost on a Quick Silver exhaust to anyone who wants one of these systems for their own E9. The only stipulation is that payment be wired direct to Quick Silver. As this is an 'at cost' offer, the wire transfer requirement is non-negotiable, so no Pay Pal, credit cards, etc.

I am not in the BMW parts business and will not make a dime on any exhausts ordered. This is a way of saying 'thank you' for all the help and advice I have received from people on the E9 list. I have installed several Quick Silver exhaust systems in Astons, Lamborghinis, Jaguars, etc and can vouch for their quality. They are top notch. The system in my 73 CSi sounds pretty much stock and does not offer any enhanced or sporty tones that I can detect.

I ordered a system this morning for a friend with a 75 CSi and the price was 1,180 GB pounds plus 100 GB pounds shipping to Miami, FL. Quick Silver have agreed to drop ship for me anywhere in the world. Each system takes about one week to make and ship. I receive a 25% discount from retail plus discounted shipping.

I may be stating the obvious, but please only order an exhaust if it is for your E9. I do not want to compromise my relationship with Quick Silver over a system that appears on eBay

Please PM me or email me direct at [email protected] if you have an interest.

Dan,

out of curiosity, have you looked at the stainless system from Fritz's Bits (UK) http://www.fritzsbits.co.uk/shop/
their resonator to tailpipe is 550 gbp. they have a e9 / m30 manifold for RHD coupes and also m30 manifolds for e34, e28. they also have m88 - e24 / e28. what i am not certain about is the pipe from the header to the center resonator. perhaps OCCoupe can weigh in here since he has this system. also whether they put in the 02 sensor bug

Hi Scott,

As I mentioned, I am not in the BMW parts business, nor do I want to be. I happened to buy a Quick Silver system for my own CSi and really liked it, so I innocently thought I would offer to pass on my dealer discount to the E9 list. I am not really interested in comparing other systems, as I have mine and I obviously like it. Anyone considering buying an exhaust for their E9 absolutely should consider and compare all the available systems. If there are better or cheaper systems out there, fantastic.

I am not saying QS is the best system in the world. I have bought several of their systems over the years for my cars, and always been delighted with them. The QS system I put in one of my Astons weighed 26.5lbs versus 75lbs for the OEM exhaust! That's one of the reasons why I like them so much! I actually use a different company for my Jaguar exhausts and headers, Hayward & Scott in England.

Several people have asked me to quote delivery of the Quick Silver systems, which I am happily doing.

Cheers!
Dan

makes perfect sense Dan ...

so who's system is this Rob?
It's Rakaror exhaust
To be true i am considering of buying it because it look pretty well made (not worse than W&N), they don't provide down pipes but the price is also right (last update was around 620 EUR + shipping).
The only issue as someone wrote here on forum - need some slight mods when assembling.

Question: do you have headers or down pipes? What sort of slight mods?

As for now i have just stock exhaust manifold.
If i finally will decide to buy Rakaror set i will be for sure looking for the headers.
Slight mods - i read when was final assembling on the car little bent on pipes was needed, so everything lied perfect.

My system came with the down pipes but they didn't serve a purpose for me since I installed headers. The system did not come with an o2 bung so we added one to the down pipes. We integrated a crossover in the down pipes and placed the bung at the X.
