I have (now) about 7 cans, 14 oz. of R12, (25.00 ea.). I also have four cans of R-12 with oil charge, stop leak and leak detector in the can with the R-12 ($30. ea.) and one 32oz can of ac flush ($25). These are FS for what I paid for them, only extra charge would be shipping. Hope it helps someone. PS, if my calculations are correct it takes 3.25 cans for a maximum charge if you are totally empty.

If someone wants to show up at my door for selling refrigerant I'm REALLY in trouble!- No, not illegal in the US, just has to be sold to someone who is licensed to service A/C or who will agree to have a licensed A/C shop do the install. Since I know nothing about A/C, it's a sure bet that a qualified tech will do the install.
