Got my R50/2 that I have had three weeks running today. Bought a new battery,
changed oil, checked fuel bowls. It had not been started in a year. Took about
15 minutes, would only run 2 or 3 seconds. Checked one fuel bowl again, seemed
pretty low. Gave it two more tries and it started without using throttle and
with full choke. After two minutes I opened choke a bit and gave it a little
throttle and I it revved nicely. I was surprised, drove it down the street and
back, got it into second gear and then parked it. I need a helmet and a license
but I'm thrilled so far. Now I just need to sell the 69 2002 to have some room in the garage.

good for you !
a bike is a nice counterpart to the coupe

Can I hang around with you the next time I'm in Madrid?

I go nearly every year to visit relatives and would love to retire to Spain to run a vintage car touring company (I know there are already companies doing this, but they need competition).
