I think I need to sell my project. Reality is I have little time or money to race the cars I already have....
Car started as a euro 72, currently a roller with glass and interior removed. What is left of the interior is crappy as hell. Some of the glass is there but the windshield has a crack. My plan was to mount on an e30 convertible floorpan. Why? Well I have an e30 iC race car and I can tell you the floor, tunnel, firewall, rockers are much stiffer than the e30 coupe and certainly stiffer than an e9!
The worst rust area is behind the drivers seat into the area where the rear subframe bolts up. I do not think the car has ever had accident damage/bondo.
This was a track only project and the car has no title.
Please do not ask me about the practicality of restoring this as a street car, YES it can be done but why? There are better candidates.
Car is located 4 miles from Virginia International Raceway, Milton NC 27350.
I do not have any photos on this computer, might be able to get some up in a couple of days. I do not have I phone, wifi, TV, cable, running water so please be patient
$2000 for the car. Add $500 for either L block euro 3.5 or early big valve 3.5. Another $500 will get you a 265 Getrag with bellhousing.
