radiator / cooling upgrade

hi all, not sure if best to post this here or on resto thread but here goes.....

I am based in UK and just begun restoring a csl, I was going to upgrade the radiator/cooling.

Has anyone got any ideas ? before taking the car apart it had an aftermarket kenlow electric fan fitted, so could put that back on or change for similar ?

with regard to the original fan, is there an upgrade with more blades which can be fitted ?

With regard to the radiator, I was thinking of an aluminium core, anyone with any experience of this or suggestions where I can get one ??

Finally silicon hoses or rubbers and from where ?

Any other suggestions ?

Cooling upgrade needed in the UK ? What are you planning on doing with the car ? If your block is clean and you have good water flow, you really shouldn't need any upgrade. Perhaps a higher capacity radiator from W&N. Keep the stock look on a CSL. Silicone hoses will last longer but won't give you better cooling and just don't look right (way too shiny).

Stay with rubber hoses.
I was able to have my stock radiator triple cored and have no cooling issues with the stock fan. Looks 100% correct.
