Can this be done with the bonnet/hood in place ???
When I look at it, it seems hard to see how it can be exchanged with the bonnet open but in place.
My thin one is damaged and I want to install the slightly thicker one, for cars with AC as W&N defines it.
Thanks,
Peder

no problem peder,
yes it can be done with the hood in place, but if your installation is original you must remove the fan at least
i have the wn ac radiator, no issues so far

Recently replaced mine with a triple core. Hood can stay on. Its a bit heavy and needs to be tilted a bit so its ackward, two people would be better but I was able to do it by myself. I replaced all of my hoses, fan, clutch and water pump at the same time. It just made sense to do it all and not have to worry about it.

I actually supported the hood then tied a thin nylon rope to each side of the radiator and ran the ropes thru the hood latches, two people lowering it crane-like. Lots of control.
