I had it worked a few years back, then i picked up a Aluminum one and it's no longer needed. I was told it is a 3 core. It is not for a automatic

Alu radiator

Hi Barry, I too got the alu radiator for my CSL. I haven't installed it as yet, but would like to hear your feedback. I bought it since I have the feeling that the temp gauge rises pretty much while in stop and go, especially on warm days. I'm hoping the alu radiator would desperse the heat quicker, thus keeping the temp at normal levels. Keahav

The difference in heat dissipation between aluminum and brass is negligible compared to the other factors in the cooling system. I doubt you will see any difference if you changed nothing else.

I'm running an aluminum rad, but I also did a 9 blade fan, viscous clutch, new thermostat and sfdon fabbed me a shroud. My temp gauge doesn't move more than a half needle now, but I think the result is the sum of the parts, not just the rad.
