Radio upgrade ??

I feel that it is important to keep the look as original as possible. The period radio needs repaired/replaced. But I want to keep the look. Has anyone used these guys www.turnswitch.com/radio1.htm to gut the original and replace with the newer options. AM/FM and iPod ect. What other options are there??

I have a Becker Europa that I found on ebay, their repair service sells an iPod adapter which uses the plug for a cassette player accessory.
