Hi all,

someone posted this a few months ago and i was hoping for some info about it.

i'm looking to fit a stereo to my e9, i want to keep the headset as authentic as possible but am looking to add an external amp to add a bit more power and better sound quality. I know these things come with an ipod adaptor but do they have a phono/aux socket for an external amp?

Alternatively does anyone else have any other combination suggestions?

i plan on sending a becker unit for my cs and an old blaupunkt essen for my tii to these guys...they replace the internals with all you need.

another option is to get a new one straight from becker. check out the becker mexico 7948:

radio stereo option

I put this Secret Audio in my car and like it fine for a couple hundred bucks.

I put the head unit under the back seat. The controller is on a cable which I hide under my drivers seat if I want the pure look. All the wires run under the carpet on the shifter tunnel. Otherwise the controller sits just perfectly on the dash with no connector needed. I left the original dead radio in for the original look.
