THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare classic 1980 BMW 635CSi Euro E24 Coupe! Finished in "Graphit" metallic [close to gloss black] over tan leather interior, this classic E24-chassis sports the high compression 218 horsepower 3.5 liter inline six cylinder engine mated to a factory close-ratio 5 speed "dogleg" manual transmission. This car is being sold with a clear and clean Nevada title in hand, the NON-working six-digit odometer shows just over 20,000 miles but the actual mileage of this car is unknown [TMU]. It features tan leather manual seats, working electric windows and sunroof [though the front windows need a bit of help going back up sometimes...perhaps a viagra will help that]. It also sports a old period-correct cassette which is inop, cool classic 15" ARE black center wheels with good rubber, trueoriginal Euro chrome bumpers, German markings insode with dogleg shift diagram on center console, front spoiler and rear duck tail rubber spoiler. This great find for the Bimmerphile or classic car collector is being offered here on Ebay for less than the cost of the sales tax alone on a new quickly-depreciating BMW 6 series!

THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this car is in "FAIR" or "DECENT" condition overall. The dark charcoal/black paint is presentable at ten feet away. Upon closer inspection you will find many bemishes, nicks, fading, scratching, paint blurring and some surface corrosion area especially near the rear lights. The car has one Euro and one U.S. front blinker lense, touched up areas and what used to be the Euro stripe along the upper sides of the car [my detail guy took it upon himself to remove it].

THE INTERIOR
The interior of this classic E24 is also in "FAIR" condition overall. Imperfections inside this car include heat cracks on the dash and wear/splitting on the front seats, torn headliner, hvac rotary dial is stuck [though warm air does blow through the system, one dash light out, odometer inop [speedo and tach work well], radio inop, stained and worn carpet, sunvisor clips broken. The tools and trunk mat are missing though the spare and jack are inside the trunk. Overall this is still a cool old ****pit that could be restored to a show-winner.

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This classic BMW starts and runs very well with excellent acceleration and mid range torque from the big six engine. The 5 speed dogleg transmission and clutch work beautifully with also excellent brakin and nice pedal feel. I just did a 300 mile road trip and I must say this car provides a still very satisfying driving experience with nice highway tracking and smooth clunk/rattle-free suspension as it purrs down the open road!

That Euro had potential....
Anyway, this week we were targeted by Ivory Coast scammers that stole the identity of a French lady including pictures of her passport. The usual line that they wired the funds but need us to pay for the taxes, blah, blah. At that point we walked away.

Bummer, the French lady also had potential. And is divorced. She actually exists and I am still thinking if I should warn her that somebody is using her identity. She may think I am the scammer...
