Tom,

From what ive seen of these rare birds, 360s can be IDd by Alpina logo above 2nd hole from bottom, 380s have the Alp logo above the first hole from bottom.

Also, thought the Alp logo should have white letters, my 360's are wht (unrestoreded).

Hth

hi this is a 360 so exact , for alpina h.button this is exactly the same as i have on the very old 4 spokes alpina st wheel , coming from a race csl 1973.

IMO this one is too small for an E9... Thinking this size might work on a 2000CS track car with a CR box though?

360s were used in the early Alpina CS racers and are period correct for pre 71. My guess the 380s evolved around 72 when CSLs arrived with without power steering requiring more musle/levera3ge at slow speeds.

Drove a friends e9 with manual steering and an M1 wheel...now that felt small and was hard work parking.

360 or 380? Like asking bigfoot where his friend the unicorn is. Be so lucky to have the opportunity to select from either. I have only seen one other 3spoker in a coupe years ago, dont recall if it was a 360 or 380....
