Really clean 42k mile E3, $8K Minneapolis

Hope ad saver isn't a problem

Just noticed that ad saver keeps a link to the original ad at the bottom of the page.

That bav looks interesting. One owner, 46,000, all records, ton of parts, and the guy has a bundle of cars under tarps. In spite of the bumpers, steering wheel, and the tan interior it may be as nice or nicer than mine and I wouldn't sell for 8000.
If I was still in the winterpeg I might consider this. Nothing wrong with it that won't buff out:-/

How much is a manual conversion? Or would the community frown upon a conversion of a car this original?

I don't know why anyone would poo poo a reversible modification that still meets factory specs while increasing driving pleasure.

If you used a four speed and did the work yourself, I'd say under $1,000. If you have the work done, you probably have 10+ hours of labor. Now factor in a five speed and corresponding bell housing, and you are at $3K+. You can find a used getrag 265 (which mates up) for $1,500.

Price dropped to 7k$
