Rear Bumper

The rear bumper on my 73 3.0 CS was trashed in a minor(?) rear ender. I see a bumper from a 2000CS on eBay. Will that work on my coupe? I understand that 1973 bumpers were unique in their mounting but the one on the car when I got it was obviously not a '73 since it did not have the offset.

If anyone has a good to excellent bumper or knows of one that I wont need a mortgage to get, please provide contact info.

Post a picture. Bumpers can be repaired, within some reason. On the 02 board there is a sticky for a guy in Dallas who apparrently has made some of those readers happy.

it was flattened in the center...and the body shop may have tossed it

2000C bumper has no rubber impact strip, I know you want it to stay original.
