Rear defogger switch location

I cannot find this switch. I know that the general view is that it is on the driver's side near a knee but it's not there. There's just the fog light switch, hazard, trip meter reset and circuit breakers.

The rear screen has defogged itself once so the wiring is all there and it works.

Is there a switch? was there a switch? It's a late '75 RHD car if that makes any difference.

Any pointers very much appreciated.
 
center console?

on my car (US '74) it's the left pull knob on center console - see pic

On my '72, it's supposed to be under the dash, next to the emergency flasher. I'm still working on locating it too in another thread
 
On 2250457 (a '73 registered car built 8/72 IIRC) the defogger switch is an orange button on the trim panel slanting forward, below the hazard switch. The haz switch is to the right of the column.

Another little joke of Hans und Fritz, to put these things in different places. Closer examination may reveal a pattern: on the console if built on Montag, Mittwoch, Freitag, on the trim panel Dimstag, randomly on other days. Sheesh how do I still remember these names, 40 years after two semesters of language?
 
I don't think there is a relay for the rear defroster.

so that probably means your wiper speed is on the column like mine too - push end of arm in to start, move arm up for fast, down for slow.
 
Left side

High beam is pull\push blinker arm - remember my car is 74 so blinker is on left, wiper arm control on right.
