A. My rear bavaria emblem is off the car when I try to put it back with the small plastic inserts it does not seem to sit flat or fit tight against the car. do I,
1. Use emblem glue to glue the emblem to the car? Won't the glue be seen? Can I put glue in the plastic inserts?
2. What about emblem tape if I use that won't it stick out too much?
B. My front right fender trim piece was held in place by the attachment clips and a screw drilled thru the fender by the previous owner,
1. Someone here mentioned using emblem tape to re-attach this to the car, how do you get it to fit flush against the fender? Where would you place the tape to make it hold well and not be seen?
A funny story a few years back I put a new hood emblem on my 71 with new plastic retainers. Driving on this nice road doing about 60 mph there was dip in the road as I looked to the right, I noticed the emblem flying off the car as I came out of the dip. I was going too fast and there were too many car around for me to stop to retrieve it. I do not want to repeat that fiasco
