Thanks. BTW, is there a viable source for the bumpers behind the plate, I can make one by stacking some neoprene but perhaps an easier alternative?
Early coupes used an H shaped holder with a single bolt in center. Later coupes two T shaped pieces on their sides, each with one mounting hole visible just outside the plate.
Coupe King sells a center mounted bracket that stands off trim panel.
He also sells the T brackets or used to.
I recently changed from the T brackets to the H bracket to get rid of the ears sticking out.
Ahhhh, good call, I missed it.
I turned my Coupe King "H" bracket around only to find the center hole needed to be drilled again to center it on the chrome plate. No big deal and now it's angled to follow the rear trunk line.
