hey guys, in the process of tripping down for body and paint work. I've managed to remove every nut and bolt without a hitch except the rear prop shaft to diff bolts. I can't get an impact wrench on them as no access. I'm thinking heat to the bolts. Also access is a pita as I need the wheels down to stop the shaft rotating. Any tips and tricks here?
Thanks

It's been a while but can you use a box end wrench from underneath? You should be able to stick a screwdriver in-between the u-joints that hits the tunnel when you turn the shaft.

Instead of a screwdriver, I used a 10 foot 2x2 wood piece stuck between the 5 bolts after the wheel was off, and the car in the air. Then a big breaker bar, provided you can get something from your tool cabinet on the nut.
I believe the bolts are captive, having a flat end that locks on a milled flange, not?

We have different lengths of cheater pipes. And always handy to have a ratcheting 1/2“ long torque wrench to get just the right angle.
