Hello from Sweden

I have a barnfind that has rear left quarter panel damage. The guy i found the car at has a 2000 cs with rusted wheel arches, but otherwise ok. Will the sheet metal from the 2000 fit my E9?
Is the moulding on the quarter panel identical with the E9?

In the research I've been able to do over the last several months, I was led to believe that the 2000CS is the same from the firewall-back to the later e9.

Walloth&Nesch have repair panels for each and they are... different? I'd sure like to know why?

Here's the 2000CS rear fender repair panel:

The photo angles are slightly different and the e9 seems to have a wider fender lip? I don't know...

Not sure this helps?

Thank you very much for this.
Since i am keeping the lip of my E9 i think that i will try to cut out the rest to use.

Thanks to Ed and Chris for the info :-)

Hi; Ed is correct. The difference is around the wheel well.I believe the E9 has a wider lip,or vise versa. My son just gave me that info last week because we also were under the impression that all was the same from A pillar back. I also know when we put the tree pieces for the rocker panels we had to cut them to fit because the E9's are a little longer. This was some of the $5000 we wasted on a car that was too far gone.
Thanks
