Rear seat question

Have a 1970 2800CS with leather interior. The seats are beginning to split. I also have after market front seats with horizontal pleats.

I've stumbled on a pair of rear seats from an E24. Will they fit or will they require modification?

I don't think they will fit flush against the parcel shelf without trimming:

I think they may be worth a try before spending a boatload on new skins from Gahh or WorldU.
