I'm sure some coupe owners have had this issue... busted rear shock tower due to metal fatigue... the previous owner had attempted a crude repair that included sandwiching the existing metal between upper and lower 'repair rings'. To my amazement it appears that these rings are not welded to the existing metal.
I'm going to have proper replacement plates (rings) welded in place.
Does anyone know what the OEM diameter of the hole is(where the rubber bushing is pressed through)? There is no metal left for which to measure. Also no rust! Yay!
Thanks!
