I love the look but unless you plan on taking it to the track that means you are driving to fast for conditions. There are only a handful of street cars that need a spoiler and as far as I know the e9 isn't one of them.
 
I think you need one of my repro rubber tipped spoilers. I was lucky enough to locate an original BMW unit from the 70's and I have now reproduced it.

I like some cars with it but the hang over to the body is where it looks off to me.
