Is there a supplier offering a replacement part for the steel plate with a depression that positions the lower end of the rear spring ? This plate is welded to the rear subframe (see attached picture).
I couldn't find it in the W&Nesch spare parts website, and also Jaymic doesn't supply one.
Is it perhaps thesame as e3 or other BMW models?
Otherwise i have fabricate it myself; It shouldn't be to difficult. I'm thinking a 3 mm steel plate and a matching diameter tube welded together will do the trick.

Joined as well a pic of the trunk area with self fabricated part to replace the rusted floor around the drop in style gas tank, my first attempt to fabricate something myself.
