I'm hoping to get some help with this one; I got a set of bushings for the rear swing arms and for the life of me I can't get them in. I tried all the usual methods but the rubber keeps "ballooning" and I'm wondering if there is a trick to this. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem.

Thanks

Bushing tool

One must make up a sleeve to keep the bushing from deforming. Electrical conduit, etc. from the local hardware store, a bit of threaded rod, etc.

Thanks-

I learned a couple of things I'll pass along in case anyone else has this problem. There is a tool that's used for ball joints that works well to both push out the old swing arm bearings and push in the new ones. Also when installing, I used a 2 inch long plumbing pipe to keep the rubber from distorting. I think most important is to use an assembly lube. It took me about 25 minutes to do all 4- just my 2 cents, hope it helps someone!
